SCHINDLER RESEARCH GROUP

Michigan Math and Science Scholars (MMSS) is a program at the University of Michigan that is designed to introduce high school students to current developments and research in the sciences. It looks to encourage the next generation of researchers to develop and retain a love for math and science. Our group members are in charge of a group of students from across the country and around the globe for a two-week camp. We developed and planned a two-week laboratory course that included short lectures and undergraduate-level lab experiments that encompassed topics from a number of fields in chemistry. As always, we plan on finishing off the program with liquid nitrogen ice cream!
